Halloween fishn!

Left McC-ville boat landing 6am started with south choppy seas. Went to SW banks area. Trolling 3 big Rapala plugs (30’ers)caught a cuda and AJ then hooked into a huge wahoo on long line. What a fight!!! Started seeing a big school of tuna slashing bait, trolling around and caught some really big blackfins ,also arm tiring fights. Good report what color raps do you use, and do you use them with the treble or single hook. I’ve had a few fish shake loose and I think it was because of the trebles.

We were using the “Firetiger” and “yellowfin” colors, lost the only single hooks plug “red” before it had a fair chance to prove itself. I agree the treble hooks may have caused some of the lost fish, but the colors were spot on! Also pulling them at 10 mph. Good luck! Look at those tooth marks!!!

Glad ya’ll got out and caught some fish! Nice hoo and hard to beat catching tuna. How is the ramp and creek at M ville after the storm?

McC-ville landing and creek has no issues thru waterway/inlet.
