Hamlin sound

Was thinking about kayak fishing Hamlin and gray bay Saturday but am limited in time and need a close launch site from mount pleasant. Any helpful places would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Adam

Hamlin looks like a parking lot now that every tom, dick, and harry knows about it. If you plan to fish there GO EARLY otherwise it will be packed by 9am I would be willing to bet. Some good fishing to be had back there but the crowds and the way they fish on top of each other isn’t something everyone enjoys.

That’s what I was afraid of…

There are other places not to far from there… not going to mention anything in particular, but shouldn’t be too hard to figure out.

Or you could just follow around the charter captain with the long flowing golden locks and fish his spots…

Hard for a kayak to keep up with a 250

Its kinda hard to use that 250 where the fish are.:wink:There is nowhere I can’t reach. It may take me a realllly long time to get there though:frowning_face:
