Any of you guys use pocket hand warmers in a tree stand or boat? If so, what if any recommendation do you have as to Make/Model:question:
I use the cheap ones that Lowes puts on sale in the spring! Uaualy buy a box, they have lasted for years. Only problem I have is they dry out your hands!
boatpoor, are these what you’re talking about?
Bought one of those Cabelas Berber Fleece pull overs with the hand warmer pouch and my hands stay nice and warm. Can’t stand to wear gloves, I can’t feel the trigger and at 2lbs pull with no creep that’s not good.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Lowe’s had them in packages of about a dozen or so for around 10 bucks. A big display of them right next to the check out line. I bought a bag and threw them in the truck console. “Better to have 'em and not need 'em than need 'em and not have 'em.”

Bought some of the Hot Hands at Lowes this morning. I have one working now on the coffee table. It does get warm but not overly so. I’m guessing just slip it into a glove or pocket and hold it when you’re fingers get cold. So far so good, but we’ll see how long it lasts. They have them for your toes also. Just put them in your boots.
I just put them in my jacket pocket and they last for 3-4 hours, great to put your hand in warm pockets after unhooking a big striper in cold weather or holding cold bonocks!
I started 1 at about 1PM and it was still warm when I just now threw it away. Of course it was inside at room temperature. I think it would work great for a few hours in your pocket. I did check the expiration date and to see if they were hard before buying.
