I need to replace the door trim for pretty much the whole house that has been chewed up over time by the dog. I am not a whiz at finishing work and I want this to look good-
Anyone have a recommendation for a handyman on Johns Island?
Have a handful of other punch-list kind of things to do before putting our house on the market, but its not a terribly big project.
It’s not difficult once you do it one time. All you need is a chop saw, pry bar, and finishing nail gun. I have all of those if you want to borrow it so you don’t have to pay someone to do it.
I know that dog didn’t chew the trim all the way up to the top! All you have to do is cut out the part as far up as is chewed up and replace it! Make square cuts and nail in the new piece! Get some wood filler and sand paper to sand the filler down where you filled in the joints and paint it! Your going to paint the trim anyway. Don’t make the job harder than it is! That’s why my name is Easy! Some of the trim can probably be fixed with wood filler, sand paper and paint, only.

I ain’t had a drink in a couple a months, but that’s gona change next week! Going to Branson again for our reunion! Plan on drinking whatever someone has! In other words, FREE I’m gona drink it and then complain about it, for being cheap. After that guy runs out, I’ll move on to another table that looks well stocked! Skinneej, got one word for you, RoundUp. Once and done:wink:
