The little lady turned 48 this weekend. Figured I cook her some dinner. Dijon and herb crusted rack of lamb, potatoes au gratin ,served with a nice red wine lamb jus. Still as beautiful as the day I met her 26 years ago, boy does time fly.

That is one fine meal. Many times preparing a meal like that is more appreciated, and often better, than a reservation downtown. My bride likes me to make her Julia Child’s version of Beef Bourgignon.
