My son and his first shark he caught from a kayak trolling about 1/2 mile off the beach. He was using a white and red gotcha plug!

How did that shark respond to being hooked. It appears to be a Spinner Shark due to the black tip on the anal fin.
That’s kinda funny I thought it was a crazy shark, it jumped over the front of the kayak and the hook got caught in the nylon rope for the carrying handle so we paddled back to the beach with a mad shark attached to the front of the kayak . Going through the breakers was interesting my son bailed on me.
