Does anyone catch Spanish macks in the harbor regularly?
Are there any menhaden to throw a net at in the harbor yet?

Should have an offshore trolling/bottom report Monday/Tuesday.
I saw a large school of menhaden near the Wando terminal last weekend. I am not sure how big they were as I did not have my cast net with me.
Spanish have been here since mid April.
Pogies were thick in the harbor a couple week backs.

What do you look for and what do you use for the Spanish?
Ran into a school of good sized Menhaden by the Cove on 5/7. 5 to 7 inchers.
Played hookie today and went all over cruising. There was good haden in the Ashley near Dolphin Cove and the Wando all up and down the port side. Didn’t look in the harbor much but they are almost always out by the fort.
