headed out tonight with a friend to the harbor, hope we get a few
Bragging may not bring happiness,
but no man having caught a large fish,
goes home through the alley.

I didn’t see hardly anyone in the harbor last night driving over the ravenel bridge. Last Friday it was all lit up. I think a lot of people are waiting for a cold snap or other event to bring the shrimp out.

We went by patriots. Stuck out, but not for lack of trying. Ran 2 passes around 8:15, nothing. Anchored up about 30 minutes til the tide started coming in a little more. Made 2 more passes, blanked again. Threw 2 more balls at each pole. Waited 30 minutes or so. 2 more passes, still nothing so we pulled up and went home. Not one shrimp… Next stop, bulls bay.
