After seeing Tommy post up that he was going the other night I got the urge to go and was rewarded with very windy conditions and murky water. When I got to Remleys the CG was there giving this poor guy everything but a prostate exam. Don’t know what he did, but they had a whole Smallboat crew going through every inch of his boat. After about an hour of searching found a sheltered area out of the wind and still managed to put a dozen nice flounder in the boat.
Tried out a new LED spotlight, and was not impressed to say the least. It gives off a different color light but for 38 bucks I’ll stick with my nine dollar halogens!

I’ve got a friend that I go giggin’ with who has spent a small fortune trying to find the “perfect” lights. He has tried every kind of light out there and he always returns to the halogens. He said the same thing about the LEDs and the sodiums.

I would…I really would, but see there is a problem. It’s called the TSA, and they are part of Homeland Security. Long story short, they won’t let me bring it on the aircraft.
How about I take you fishing one of these days instead?

I’ve got an LED setup and have had some good results! Three Flounder pros on a PVC rig set three inches under the water. Went out last night and got nine flounder. Clarity was much better than a couple evening’s before! Good job on the flounder, Sells! Good Eats!
the key is your LED’s are under the water. that’s my opinion at least
I agree, Plus, they each have a fair amount of lumen output. The white light does take some getting used to. either way, whatever gets them in the cooler.
