Hey all headed out monday night to the harbor. Only been getting to go maybe once a year with hectic SWAT schedule, so not at all a pro. Looking for some advice. We are planning to go monday, boat in at 6 with high tide like 640ish. Ive read that incoming tide is good. My question is that we normally go between JIYC and DNR so how deep should we be. I know its kinda flat out there. Any info will help because this is prob the only trip ill be able to take. Thank yall for all the help.
Mr. Radabaugh…Zach v here…shoot me a text 345-5356 and I’ll give you some tips over there. Will probably be out there myself a couple nights next week.

I’m trying to make plans to be in that same area as well, between JIYC and DNR…find where the flat drops off into the channel…be as deep as your poles will allow (adjust for tidal rise)…set poles parallel with that ridge, bait the deep side if possible and wait…good luck…The Morris Island Lighthouse www.savethelight.org
Thanks guys for the help. I’ll look for yall out there. I’ll be in a white 17 sea fox cc. I will look for the deep ledge. Any idea of a ball park as to how many yards from shore that ledge is? And how deep should I be looking… I have standard 10ft. poles.

between JIYC and DNR the “ledge” will be at least a hundred yards from the edge of the grass…and near the convent it might be a couple hundred yards…you’ll see it on your depth finder…
