Shrimp must have been affected by the gov’t shutdown. Almost ready to start buying shrimp lol. Not at all, its all about getting out and putting a few back with friends. Had a good time, every shrimp (all 20 count)( were monsters! All jumbo shrimp, but little to nothing for quantity. It’s crazy, week ago every cast on the opposite side of the harbor was slap full (mostly small and medium) 4 passes, filled a cooler and left for the docks. This week other side, monsters and 1 shrimp per pass. Can be frustrating! I guess till another day.

The few trips that I have made on the north side of the harbor have been horrible… When you say the other side you loaded up on smaller shrimp i’m assuming that was the south side of the harbor?

Went out on the 27th, numbers were there, but the size wasn’t. I caught maybe a total of 40, only 5 were large, which was better than last time. Hopefully, this cold weather gets them going. If not, I’ll still have fun casting. Beats sitting at home.
