Harbor question

Looking for someone who fishes the harbor area regular. I’m forced to be shore bound and would like to run some thing by a guide or some body that fishes the area a good bit. I know the spot I have in mind isn’t any ones secret spot but like I said I’m forced to go from shore and just want to get an opinion on tha particular spot. Just drop a couple of names and I’ll pm you.

Well this is difficult to give a good answer to because you can fish the harbor by land from James Island, Mt. Pleasant, Downtown, Sullivan’s Island, West Ashley and tips for one area may not be good for your area. The different areas have different features, tides and species so if you get great information for reds it does no good if your going to target flounder. What are your limits, do you want to stay on a dock, are you willing to fish from a marsh or wading or take a long walk or a little swim. The Battery, MT. P Pier, brittle bank park, the marinas are the easiest and the most public spots to fish.

My office is downtown. I’ve done well at waterfront park. You can fish the pier by the fountain and the pier on the other end by the pilot boats. Got a keeper inshore slam there a while ago. Now is the time to fish as most tourists are gone.

Ok, lets make this a little easier. I’m looking in the area between high battery and water front park. Have tried the little dock by the pilot boats before with no luck. But that is fishing lol. I know it can change from day to day and at any time of day. Just looking for a general idea as to what I might can expect.
