Does anyone have a good source to check harbor salinity?
Is it still screwed up?
I don’t have a resource for checking it but given all of the rain that was received in parts of the state above the Lowcountry, I’m sure salinity will be out of sorts for a week or so. I’ve been told it take two days for water in the Columbia area to make it to the coast and that doesn’t include the timeframe it takes anything from the upstate/Greenville area that flows into Columbia, for what that’s worth.
God bless the “ignore” function.
Looks like 20-25 parts per thousand. I just did the Google. USGS info. It was in the 25-30 range before Irma.
Thanks. Yeah fished near the harbor this afternoon and the fish didn’t seem to mind

and select parameters like temp or salinity to get something like this
Its got to be a lot higher about now…
