Set up along the Mt P side of CB last night, Just inside green markers, outgoing, strong current, clear water. 1st shrimp at 735 PM, full dark. They were never really heavy. A few cast w/ 12-14 shrimp, but most 2-3. pulled poles at 9:30 about with about 1/3 cooler. Mixed, mostly mediums. Several boats on the harbor side of CB. Would love to know if you guys did any better.
Dittos on that report. We went to Crab Bank last Wednesday and the big shrimp ran through just as the sun is setting. Put out a 4-5 test balls. As soon as you get a couple big shrimp, bait up and throw like hell. Don’t stop to drink a beer and screw around because they are going to run through and be gone. Bulls Bay was a bust last weekend. I just don’t know why things are they way they are. All that rains did a number on us. Deep dropping is the only good reports I’ve heard and the sizes are mixed. Went deer hunting this weekend instead. That sort of sucked too come to think of it. I saw some brothers yesterday with a 5 gallon bucket slap full of whiting in their boat. Maybe that’s the ticket
