Another amazing weather night. Warm enough for a T-shirt w/ Bibs, enough breeze to keep the gnats off. 1st time out in a week. At Patriots Pt off of the Golf course. Started at 3-4 ft w/tide just starting in. They were never super heavy but steady starting right at dark. (good cast were 15-20 shrimp, average 5-6) Mostly large, w/ a few smalls and mediums and jumbos mixed in. Pulled poles at 910, still catching some shrimp, but have to work. Great night w/buds who are novice shrimpers and I wasn’t throwing net very well either. A little over 1/3 cooler, If better casting, prob would have been 2/3+

Any body at CB tonight can give a report? Anybody at JI?
We were at CB. Got there a little late, so ended up setting up on the inside / ocean side and i think we were a little too shallow. Lots of folks out last night. It started off slow and then actually picked up for us around 830. I think this was due to how shallow we started. Would be interested to see how the guys were doing out a little deeper. We pulled poles at 920 and ended with 14 - 32 oz headed soup containers full. Could have got the cooler had we grinded it out for another hour or so. Size was mainly large with some jumbos in there. Nice night.
Going tonight with my dad. He has never been. I have been 2x and weather was not great. I assume you guys put poles along the funnel in the flat? …so as water comes in or out your depth changes untill you dial them in. I really want a nice trip. Any help?

Went out last night on CB. South end on flat. They came in around 715. Right on time. We’re steady all night on the deep side. Almost full cooler. Pulled poles around 11. Late night but worth the work.
We slayed ‘em Tuesday and Wednesday nite on CB. Set up in about 5’ to 6’ at dead low on both nites. Tuesday - Started casting at about 7:00. Filled cooler in 4 runs and pulled poles at 9:00. Mostly large with several jumbos (Red cooler). Wednesday - Started casting at about 7:15. Filled cooler in 3 runs and pulled poles at 8:25. A bad cast was 2 dozen shrimp.
nice haul!
Nice!
