Harbor with the Brother-in-Law

Headed out of Shem Creek with my brother-in-law Saturday Night (9/19/2015). Shrimped the out going and in coming tides… Yes we were out there for that long. Only managed a few dozen shrimp. All great sizes, larges or bigger. The low tide seemed a little on the high side and it was slam packed out there. I could walk shore to shore and not touch the water. Hoping the shrimp pick up in the coming weeks.

Shocking you all didn’t catch more than you reported. We caught the limit on 9/13 and strong 3/4 of a cooler on 9/19 in the Harbor. Based on the picture you shared we were set up right next to each other.

Dang, my phone never rang…

Does this mean I’m related to Cabdella somehow?

I don’t blame the net thrower, I blame the dolphins!! And the lack of the secret bait ingredient… Yes! you are now “related” to 23 via yours truly!

We were right there beside you falcon in the camo war eagle and got just over half a cooler. They were smaller than the limit that we got on the 13th but can you imaging how much meal was in the water Saturday night??? That’s the most boats I’ve seen out there at one time.

We had one boat come in late and ran out of room for their poles and asked if the could stick the last one beside us. We had no problem with it but at times, we would have to wait on each other to turn around and make another pass.

Me thinks I’m gonna stick with Sunday nights. On the 13th, there were only 5 boats out there with us and we got the limit in a fairly short time.
