Shrimped in the harbor tonight between JIYC and Ellis creek less then 3 dozen shrimp, I will wait till next weekend for sure, this is the worst I have seen the shrimping and I have been shrimping JI bank since before we had to have a permit.
Went saturday with a friend and tried the incoming tide. We were close to JIYC and didn’t get a dang thing. He picked up bait balls a couple of times but no shrimp. Funny thing is I was thinking stay between the MT P pier and Remleys but he wanted to go all the way over to James Island side. Will try again next week but not sure where we will go.

We were there also and caught maybe two pounds. It was slow.
I was above Mt P Pier on Sat night, too, until around 8PM when I had an electrical issue forcing me off the water. Didn’t get any shrimp on my 1 test pole in the 45 min I was there, and didn’t see anyone getting any. Will definitely wait until the weekend again to give the shrimp time to show up in numbers. Might have to make the drive to Bulls if reports don’t improve for the harbor this week.
