Not completely new to the forum but I’ve never posted anything. I check in daily to read post and usually get a lot of good information and some good laughs. I mostly fish up in Bulls Bay but I’m interested in fishing the harbor bridge, grillage, jetties. I’ve read all the post I can find on these places. Just wandering if there was any last minute do or don’ts or suggestion. I will be headed that way Friday morning not sure what day I’ll be fishing in the harbor still watching the weather. So if your out there and see some body that’ looks like there lost could be me (learning curve). Stop by and say hey always good to put a face with a name.
What are you trying to catch?
Will be fishing the harbor for the first time in a couple weeks as well. I will definitely keep an eye on the topic. I am working my way south. I have spent most of my time around Little River and Murrells Inlet, with a little experience in Georgetown and Bulls Bay. I’m targeting reds and flounder, but honestly just hoping my son and I catch fish.
First tip is get a reef anchor if you plan on the grillage. That area eats anchors but will produce some nice reds and shark but be prepared to be pestered by many BSB. They become a pain after a while. I like the incoming tide. I’ve always did well then. Outgoing tilde current can be rough
