Left out of Folly 0900 Saturday Morning for a quick trip to the Robison. I was in search for some used hardware and to get a couple of new divers comfortable in the water. After we limited out on Carolina Chain Snapper we grabbed a few convicts for dinner and headed back.
Nice haul! We typically you soft weight belts. They are much more comfortable and accomplish the same goal as the anchors. Not to mention they won’t tear your wetsuit either.
Reputation is what people have come to think of you.
Character is the way you act when no one is around.
You have become very adept transfering and perfecting our dark art of dumpster diving to the marine world. So good that it doesn’t even log your post count when you post here… Very impressive.
What will be equally impressive is the number of emails you’ll now receive claiming those snappers! I call b.s. On this entire thread though. I say those anchors came out of your yard and sebastian killed the sheeps off the beach!
Water was cold skinee…feets were numb, water temp around 64
We were using lined shafts Jimisland…didn’t want any fish stealing my shafts, Plus I like to make sure I keep what I shoot.
Scoutin you’re dead on about the soft weights vs. anchor. Seriously though, what if I needed a grappling hook down there?
Phin the anchors are for the bare spots on the garage floor. And one to keep Seabass from running away. You know I have to keep the garage at capacity, filled with junk at all times. Not to mention they snare fast moving burglars.
Edisto glad you could come fishing…Those boiled eggs were awesome the next couple of days!
