Same old thing this time of year , just catch you some bluebacks or gizzard shad ,catch 10 or 20 and go home . The catfish will bother you tho…Oh where / creeks . It is much fun and will last for about a month or more ,go get em .

Picked up 2 small fish and 2 stranded fishermen at the dock. Their boat would not start and I was fishing alone so I invited them along since they were already at the ramp. Nice day on the water but just could not seem to find any fish???

I got a late start yesterday but me and the bro-in-law was on the water about 8:30 . Went to a place to catch shad in the daytime and after about 8 throws we had more than enough bait . We proceeded to try the tree tops close to the creeks with out a hit . Went in a creek and tried again only to catch some catfish and largemouth bass . I didn’t check the barometer , but I do think it was the bright sunshine that drove them deeper . We did miss a few strikes , they always come when ya starting eating ya know . Now don’t tell me to eat more , I already am starting to get a belly like Stonoman

Maybe next time will be better but just having the health and a boat to go in is a blessing … catch em up ya’ll
