Well with the current bait situation at Murray we decided to go to hartwell. Got some great looking bait from lake hartwell outdoor center. Those guys have mastered the art of conditioned bait! We pulled free lines and planners. Action was slow but when one decided to bite it was a quality fish. Caught 3 stripers between 12-15lb and 2 BIG hybrids 7-9 lbs. Caught fish in Beaverdam and Martins creek. Water quality was great everywhere we went and it was around 59 degrees. Lots of seagulls starting to show up and working bait schools. It was a nice change of scenery and I had some great company, just me and my dad out today.

Stay out of Connie Ross too many boats, will run over you! Glad you found some fish. They do have nice bait!!
