Never seen a Red with a head shaped like this? Any ideas?
Looks like a scar from an injury sustained very early in life. Like a blue crab almost got him between the eyes when he was tiny but missed
Could also be genetic but less likely
Definitely little odd looking and didnt notice really till we had him on the cleaning table…
I’ve seen dolphin toss reds and flounder and mullet around a bunch. My guess is a porpoise was playing with his food and this red got away.
