Went to hatchery today, caught couple of small bass on top water bait early

Ran a trot line in the Hatchery last night for a few hours. Wife wanted some Cats for a big pot of stew. Kept 8 for the stew and released about 20 under 2 pounds.
Have been fishing the other side of the lake in about 10’ of water and catching a bunch of cats. Heard they have been catching catfish around the duck pond area.
