I recently purchased a Carolina Skiff from Hanckel Marine. As to be expected when purchasing a new boat, motor, and trailer there were a couple of small glitches that needed to be addressed. Kyle my salesman was johnny on the spot along with Celeste in making sure my minor issues were taken care of quickly. I since have had an issue with the trailer. Nothing detrimental but an issue that needed attention just the same. Well i’ll tell ya, when I went to Hanckel today, Milo, Ben, and Celeste were more than helpful. I was totally blown away when Milo decided to send one of his techs to follow me to my house and make repairs on my boat trailer at my home. No charge!!! This my friends is service way above any I have ever seen. It’s comforting to know that there are still good quality folks in business in the Charleston area that truly understand what taking care of there customers means. I for one will be a Hanckel Marine customer for ever.

Congrats on getting new boat. I bought a Sea Pro from them back in 2001 and they have always given me excellent service. If you don’t mind, which Carolina Skiff did you get. I stopped by there a few weeks ago and Miles showed several of them to me. My family is grown up now and don’t need the boat I have anymore. I’m looking for something lighter and those have a lot of the features in an inshore boat I’m looking for.
Thanks,
Jack Taylor
You just got a boat and needed the trailer repaired? What happen to it? “As to be expected when purchasing a new boat, motor, and trailer there were a couple of small glitches that needed to be addressed.” I would expect a new boat motor and trailer to be ready to roll right off the get go no problems at all. If done right.

Quality folks at Hanckel and John (brain fart, just lost his last name)is very helpful. I actually bought my 2000 Scout from John when he worked at the Outboard Shop. Still have the boat and most folks can’t believe it is 11 years old. John and Hanckel have helped me keeping it looking and running fine!
