Have I discovered where CHSFishing.com went?

I gave up on finding where Charleston Fishing .com went - Is this the ‘upgrade/replacement’?

I think my old screen name was coryphaena, and I’ve wondered about Marshgrass, Carl “Nature Boy”, Eyyball, Paul ‘sellsfish’, chumking, SkinneeJ, all the old gang. Have I found the right site?

Yes you have
I would love to see a post from skinnyj

last time I heard from Carl (Natureboy) he’d had a stroke, and was having trouble with his vision.

That Fsking sucks for the 'Naitch. Perhaps a stupid thought, but if there’s anything I could do to help him out, I would. He weighed my #2 state record Dolphin (59.8#) for me at Duncan in 200?..

Is Marshgrass still with us?

The only one of those yahoos I see is Skinnie occasionally, the last time at the gym of all random places. Last time I saw Eyeball was on the 50 yard line in Williams Brice a decade ago.

I don’t know, but if i were a betting man, Id say Sellsfish is killing a giant fish at this exact moment.

I text Bonzo and Peepad on the regular. They live vicariously through my fishing and hunting pictures, so it’s like a charity I do special just for them.

Bonzo and Peepad wanna be like RickyBobby when we grow up…
Marshgrass passed away a couple of years ago. She was an absolute one of a kind.

I chatted with Marshgrass for several months before she extended an invite to me to group up for a T-W-D offshore trip. Without suggesting any biases of any kind, she was…‘not the captain I expected’. Then again, how many ‘normal’ offshore enthusiast captains - besides Striker Mike - are there? She was a fine captain, a skilled fisherman, and truly one-of-a-kind. One memory: approaching the Ledge at dawn, she said to throw out a bare skirted hook at 17 knots, as high-speed trolling works. I called bullsh1t, and five minutes later we snagged a 40# wahoo.

How about Stonoman? I saw what I believed was his boat on a lift off the Stono last year.

I saw his boat maybe in the spring, but i don’t go up in his creek much. That flat coming into his creek holds some reds though…shhhh.

Coryphaena, Marshgrass passed away a little over 2 years ago. She is now hanging around her favorite fishing grounds.

In the old CHS Fishing there was a guy named ***Beer_____***something, who gave great advice about fishing Edislow. Anyone recaall his name and status?
