Have you heard?

A lot of fish die that are released. How do the “scientists” know this? Are these the same group of people that think Black Sea Bass and snapper are on the verge of extinction? Why do folks repeatedly recapture tagged fish if they die when being released? These are all important questions.

After being released, a lot of fish die, but a lot of them live also.

Plus- if they all die when released then why do we have a size limit. Size limits are set to allow the fish population to grow.

I guess we will never know what group of scientists and which set of “data” to believe. I do know I caught a red the other day that had just broken me off on the rocks minutes before and also had another hook still in him, 3 hooks in one fish, swam off just fine.

I would surmise these are Peta scientist that want to stop harvesting fish. I mean…the hook hurts a fish argument didn’t work out too well.
