HAZARD in Wappoo Creek near Edgewater Bridge

Hi Folks,

Forgot to post this last week. Near the mouth of Wappoo Creek, just north of the Edgewater Park Bridge (i.e. in the creek itself after you go under the bridge, around the second or third dock), there was a large dock piling directly in the middle of the creek. It almost looks like it was pile-drived right in the middle of the creek.

Don’t know if it is still there.

You may want to send a PM to DFreedom. I think he is w/ DNR & could get someone to see about it.

Possible, but I don’t think so. This is a new looking, nice green piling. It’s not near the submarine net pilings. It’s in front of the first or second (possibly third) dock, right in the middle of the creek.

I almost ran over it last week. Pretty sure it was a new green piling.

Our tradition is that of the first man who sneaked away to the creek when the tribe did not really need fish.
