I know i have started 2 other threads in different areas but i really really want to get this thing going…lol…

just purchased a HDS 7 Gen2 with the LSS-1 structure scan. Got it all hooked up and fastened in and started reading the start up paperwork. The structure scan paperwork says my unit has to have a Application update that is at least a 2.5, Mine of course being brand new still has the 1.0. Followed the paperwork and went to Lowrance.com for the update. only problem is the only update they are showing for the Gen2 is 1.1, Gen1 has a 4.1 update. what update do i need to install to get my structure scan to be working?. Of course Tech support is closed today. Any help would be a great help…

Buy a Humminbird:wink: Easiest to update and operate IMHO.

everything is all good with the Gen2s. they just put that little yellow piece of paper in the LSS-1 boxes because they are the same ones used with the Gen1s which is kinda what i thought but hopin to get out in the next day or so to play around with it…

edit…I bug Phin WAY too much with my questions…lol…
