That must have been Monday. I knew I should have gone. ■■■■ it! Snooze you lose. Release the hounds…it’s on

This was last night in that howling wind about 730…

We saw a total of three fish. Jerms saw one, I saw one tailer and this one that I caught was actually cruising. I could see his swirl and put the copperhead crab about five feet from his face. Twitched it twice and he gobbled it up.

We had very limited shots at fish and I was lucky to get on this one. I picked a spot that look very fishy and posted up for about twenty minutes or so thinking to myself that eventually a fish would come by. It was one of the few places out of the wind that I could get to. It proved to be a lucky hunch. This was the hardest I’ve ever had to work for a fish on the flat. Very finicky, but well worth the wait.

Actually broke the fish off at my feet in ankle deep water and pounced on him WWF style. Glad Jerms didn’t have the camera out for that! Very lucky to get this fish!

…because everything is a conspiracy!!!

haha “wwf style” i wish i had seen that!

Nice work! I almost beat you to it that morning, same day 3/30.
I had a textbook tailer working and it just would not take and spooked after about a few attempts.
