Head removal 100HP Yamaha 4stroke

I am going to help a friend see why he is getting water into the #4 cylinder. You can see the water spitting in from below when the spark is removed and the water is on the flush line. We are looking at pulling the head to see how deep the damage might go. I was hoping someone could tell me if the cams need to be removed prior to the head removal or can it come out as one piece?

CAMS HAVE TO COME OUT FIRST
THEY COVER THE HEAD BOLTS

I WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST BUYING A YAMAHA SERVICE MANUAL BEFORE TACKLING THAT PROJECT, AT LEAST BEFORE THE REASSEMBLY

Thanks Chris. My friend says he has a manual I just havent looked at it yet.
