Headed down with my girlfriend tomorrow from the Midlands, Staying kinda near Demetre Park. W/O a boat and only a half day to fish, is Demetre gonna hold some game this time of year? I was thinking of suspending some shrimp or clams under a cork out on that rocky point that juts out with the Monument atop it, hoping for a sheepshead. That, and have my girlfriend catching crabs (which she enjoys better than fishing) and quarter a few of those for some bottom rigs also out off the same point. sound feasible? Anywhere better nearby from shore I should post up instead?

Thanks Jim. It’ll be a great day in the sun with my lady fish or no fish. Could probably find a boat to get on, but my lady friend likes the option of headeing off in the car to shop or get coffee or whatever. 
No matter how many variables I have control over, I never expect a bite. I only hope.
