So I am not for the health bill that passed, but I’m confused as to why the Dow is up 100+. The way I see things, this bill is bad for the economy, jobs…

Don’t worry about what you hear on the radio. The market hasn’t made much sense for several months now. That’s why they call it an “irrational” market with respect to “short term” moves. Anything you hear about the market on the radio or tv is fluff. If they really knew how to read the market, they would be millionaires.
Also understand, that any time the government spends money it’s good for some corporation out there. It might be horrible for tax payers, but you can be willing to bet that there will be a line of companies knocking on Obama’s door ready to be the recipients of that government cheese.
