Capt. David Nelson did an awesome job explaining how NMFS and NOAA haven’t and don’t care about getting science and management right. Some other folks have come around to seeing the light, and are now throwing their political weight behind essentially what we have been saying for several years about the process and system being broken. Sad to see one gentleman from the recreational community still sticking to his beliefs instead of coming to terms with reality.
Congressman Jeff Duncan was awesome for us. He got onto the panel at our request and has gotten abreast of the issues. You could really see this as he was asking folks the right questions and getting fired up. He gets it! We need to thank him and support him as he tries to help us up there.
