My DR says that the public is relatively uneducated about the early signs of heart disease. The early signs can easily be confused with indigestion ,mild back pain, or sore muscles. The first hint I had was a very mild pain/pressure about the size of a baseball in the center of my chest. When it began to radiate to my left arm and up to the left side of my neck, I knew. Not that I did anything about it - but I knew.
