Help. 3 yamaha 250's outside motors won't advance

Sitting at dock. 3-250’s yamaha
Outside motors will shift into forward but won’t advance. Middle motor is fine. Any advice?

Without knowing anything specific about the boat, I would say the first thing is to make sure the throttle isn’t stuck in neutral somehow.

And when you say the motors won’t advance, do you mean the props won’t spin at all?? Or they just won’t advance in speed past idle forward?

I’m sure trouble shooting is moot for you at this point in the day, but keep us posted.

figured it out about 30min after this post which I posted while we were tied up outside at Patriots Sat am. Had a good day fishing.

The props would spin but could not speed up because 2 of the 3 the throttles were “rusty” I guess. One of our guys forced the throttle forward when the boat was off and it seemed to break free whatever was impeding advancing the throttles.

I would strongly suggest taking it to a shop and having it serviced, to prevent a complete failure later
