Help, Fishing Yak Fishing Murrells Inlet area

I am spending a week in Surfside beach and want to spend most of it fishing from my yak. Mostly like inshore fishing for reds and trout. I was hoping some of you on this board might have some good advice for the fishing up the road from Charleston.

There is a good ramp/acess for kayaks at off the dirt road between business 17 in Murrells inlet and Huntington beach state park.It is part of the state park. There is also a small ramp and bait store at Ceadar Hill landing on Business 17 in Murrels inlet.Both ramps put you back in the creeks away from the big boats.
