Help Identifying 2 lures

I just bought a whole lot of salt water lures. This lot had 6 lures that I don’t recognize. I normaly don’t pull anything this big. Was wondering if any of the pros could help (name of manufactuer, value, what they would be used for, ect.)
The black and purple has san sal candy by bart in the head and the red and black has no words but has spades in its eyes.

purple and black is as it says a san sal candy made by black bart. Great wahoo lure and we’ve caught blackfin and a sail on it too. Reccomend leaving that wire on there too. retails new for around 40 I think

dont know about the red black but imagine it would be also a good wahoo lure. probably a little cheaper because it doesnt have epoxy head

I’d agree, both are made for high speed wahoo trolling.

I’ve seen the red and black when we were looking at high speed lures, pretty sure it’s a wahoo king by ace lures. If it is, new about $60. Depending on what you paid for the lot, you may have gotten a pretty good deal.

the one on the left is an ace lure and the other is a black bart both of them are great for wahoo

Thanks for all the info and I looked up ace lures web site and you are correct. Looks like I got a pretty good deal. Only paid $75 for the whole lot, and it consisted of 6 ace lure, 1 black bart, 12 Ilander lures, 3 daisy chains, 2 doorknob lure,a set of bird teasers,3 planers and about 20 other trolling lures I don’t recognize.

One other question is how fast does one normally pull a high speed lure?

That’s an awesome deal, depending on the ocean, your tackle, and boat, 12-20 kts or better. You can do a lot of research on it to see if it’s something you are interested in giving a shot. Try searching it here and google.

If the Black Bart is signed with a Sharpie, put it in a shadow box. Don’t fish with it. Worth too much for collectors. I’ve got two autographed marlin lures that will never see water again.

the one on the left is a Lehi. They didnt make many of them. Rumor was that they went out of business but not they are back up and running.
