Help me please :)

Hello my name is josh, im in the air force and have to chance to step away from work for a while and will be coming to north myrtle in June and will be taking my fishing paddle board in the hopes to target some tailing reds with the paddle board mainly on with a fly rod but have found very limited info on good places to fish. I just don’t wanna drive more than 1hr 30 mins to get on fish everyday. ,maybe a couple times. I will be coming back but this is just the first trip this year. any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks for your service Josh! and welcome to CFC! Hope someone chimes in, because I can do you no good on fishing in or around Myrtle Beach. Good luck on a paddle board thing, don’t know didly about them, but I do know a nice red will pull a kayak pretty good! I’d just suggest not getting too close to oyster rakes on one.

Thank you for your service and God bless. I’ll be glad to take you if you can make it down to Charleston.

The first weekend in June is good. When are you planning on coming down?

Plenty of tailers where you will be, I just don’t fish up there.

May all your favorite bands stay together…

thanks everybody I plan on fishing in the Pawley’s island area. I hope to catch something . heck I would be happy to catch anything.

NMB??? Go north to Little River or the Oak Island area in NC.

Go to Murrels Inlet…Launch from the public ramp and take the creeks to your right or left and fish the banks. Caught a lot there when I was stationed at the Coast Guard base in Georgetown. Little river has a lot of boat traffic and Bull sharks. Thanks for your service and enjoy.

thanks everyone with the suggestions or just commenting. I really appreciate all those offering to help.

Thanks for your service. If you are in the Pawleys Island area here is a tip. Go to the island on the north access rd. It is the one with the hardware store. Then go north to the small public boatramp on the back side of the island. Put in there and you can almost immediately catch fish. Paddle north and there is a small inlet with a flat. That is a good spot. Keep heading a little north you have a couple of good grass spots.
