Help With Switches

I installed some new gauges and switches on my console. The switches came with no instructions and I guess I am just not smart enough to figure them out. There are 3 switches, 2 ON-OFF (Courtesy Lights and Accessories) and 1 Momentary (Horn). The switch faces all have a small light at the bottom and a bigger light at the top that lights up when the switch is activated (I suppose). Each switch has the same configuration of 4 posts on which to place female spade plugs but other than the numbers 1 - 4, no indication of what goes where. Looking at the back of the switch, there are 2 posts on the left side (1, 2, 3 vertical) and 1 post(4)on the right side.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Best guess without seeing it would be the single post is incoming power +12v, and the other posts are for the items that will run off the switch. Can allways give it a test with a ohmmeter or just hook one item up and see if it works like that.

usually the incoming power+12v “jumps” with short jumper wires with spade conns. to each switch rather then a seperate power wire to each switch.
Hope this helps ya.

if the switches are lighted, they must have a ground
the one by itself is usually the ground

not sure why you would have 3 other terminals
