Here Fish fish fish?

I have been in Charleston for 9 years and am still having a difficult time catching much inshore. I generally fish a few harbor spots for big reds and otherwise the folly river area to kiawah and the back side of morris island creeks. I’m looking for reds and trout etc… , does anybody have any advice on rigs/bait and the types of structure or areas I should be looking for specifically that attract fish around here. Incoming outgoing tides better? I have tried both and can always catch a stingray but i’m over that.
I really appreciate any advice.
Thanks!!

You have two ears and one mouth, science would say you should listen twice as much as you speak.

Water been pretty muddy lately with all the rain. That being said, cut mullet on a circle hook still works well around the flats all through the rising tide, Carolina rigged.
