Hewes hull delamination

I was doing some research on Hewes flats boats and ran across a post on Craigslist claiming that Hewes delaminate due to poor construction and that the problem was most prevelant in newer hulls. I have heard nothing but good things about the Hewes line of boats. Is this just the rantings of a disgruntled individual or is there something to this claim?

What say the experts?

I have not heard of any Hewes problems.Maybe this was posted by the only person that has had any issues with the company. Are supposed to be outstanding boats.

i have seen those poorly articulated rants on craigslist too. it is just one jackleg that has nothing better to do. I have owned a pathfinder and would definitely recommend a MHP product.

That guy had a problem with way the crack in his poling platform. MBC claims even though it was out of warranty that they would fix the tower for free but were going to charge to remove and reinstal to antennas he had on it. He took is somewhere else to get fix and continues to complain. Sounds to me like its just some idiot. I’ve never heard anyone say anything bad about them
