Don’t alter things to work in your favor. Bowden “resigned”. which is in fact exactly what Spurrier did.

In the words of Tommy Bowden :
“Only those of us that have been a head coach at a high pressure football program can fully appreciate the relief they felt after the game. In contrast, I can also relate to the disappointment felt by Bob Stoops, the Head Coach at Oklahoma and Georgia’s Mark Richt. However, you can only enjoy the euphoria from the win for 24 hours, before you start your preparation for the next game. It’s the loses that seem to linger for a lot longer. Over the course as the Head at Clemson University, I had found myself on the hot seat, cold seat, warm seat, until I eventually experienced the ejection seat!!!”
Oh swell, I feel all warm and fuzzy. Can we build a campfire and sing Kumbaya?
What’s the goat market like these days?

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I can build a heck of a camp fire. You would have to sing alone. My talent was Baseball and Football. No musical or singing talent.

You could have easily avoided all this name calling by simply posting with an open letter to all cooterville haters earlier this week.
You could have said that you were wrong about Spurrier loving your program more than himself and that you welcomed discussion of who’s next but no need to talk about any misbelief nor disbelief regarding Spurrier and the state’s flagship university.
LOL, “Spurrier comfortable with his decision to resign as USC’s football coach, has no plans to ‘go into hiding’.”
Spurrier spoke to The State from his usual office overlooking the field at Williams-Brice Stadium, and he plans to remain there through the end of the regular season, gradually cleaning out countless pieces of memorabilia that has accumulated since he took the job on Nov. 23, 2004.
