They were going by extractor marks, but that is a long stretch imo as most guns of the same manufacturer have the same extractor marks. Bullet rifling differs much more and more distinct to individual rifles/pistols. too much doubt in this area. Maybe if they had the weapon. ?

Been told one of the dudes that sits behind Alec everyday in court is a Fed that’s going to take him into custody if he’s found not guilty anyone able to confirm?
With the evidence known now of his whereabouts are they able to search for more evidence to find the black out and clothes?
There was some testimony to the fact that extractor marks, on a casing, are, indeed, as reliable on identification, as rifling marks on a slug.
Just passing along what I understood, as how they are trying to link the murder weapon to AM.

They have verified that the casings found at the range, and the casings found at the murder scene, were fired from the same weapon.
Same as you can verify two slugs were fired through the same barrel.
You don’t need the barrel, the identifying marks are left on the slugs.
As far as questions?
Why load buck shot, and bird shot (Turkey) for a murder attempt?
Why load a 16 gauge shell into a 12 gauge barrel?
With the timeline explained in great detail, where did AM expose of the guns?

Here is the kicker. If they were killed by one or both of the Murdaughs owned guns, that still doesn’t put what finger was on the trigger. These new gps tracks don’t look good for him though.

I know these people that do the forensic work are well educated and supposedly pretty smart people.
I just can’t see how you could tell the difference between a shell casing fired from a milspec weapon. Especially if they were from the same manufacturer. Maybe possibly from another manufacturer. Today’s technology and CNC machines. Their manufacturing parts with almost zero tolerance. The same goes for a bullet. Seem to me if you fired the same bullet through several different weapons. Same manufacturer. with the same powder charge they would look the same. And it seems to me you would end up with a different pattern for the different powder charge. This coming from someone with a 9th grade education but still.
