Hey Kayakers

I am in the market for a used (cheap) kayak for my son and me to goof around in. We would use it primarily in calm saltwater (creeks, marsh, etc…). I am not looking for anything fancy but, if I am going to buy one, I would like to have some good info on what to look for or what to stay away from. Some time ago, someone on here had one really cheap but never responded to my inquiries. Any input (constructive) would be appreciated.

Thanks

I hate to say it but Dicks has some cheap yaks for fishin… they are cheap boats though. You would be better off spening some $$ and getting a Tarpon 140 or 120 from Time Out. Anyting that floats will get ya fishin but better quality kayaks make the day more comfortable and more enjoyable. Ocean Kayak also makes soem good stable kayaks that won’t break the bank… Also check out www.sckayakfishing.com all kayak fishin on that site…
