the stripers aren’t biting that great right now.a lot of short fish is about all that’s hitting.i will get in touch with you as soon as things pick up.i plan on going out saturday with a friend and see what happens.the trade sounds great to me.i’ll keep in touch.
I’m heading out with phishinphag saturday morning. We are probably going to fish the mid/lower end. If we get into any keepers I’ll give you a call. I gave up on the upper lake. Even this time of year I seem to do better on the lower half. I guess I just know it better. I couldn’t even get shorties on the upper lake this year. I had some big ones on the ff last weekend but I could not get my line through the small ones. Then after about 45 minutes (just after sunset) they all vanished. I could not find fish anywhere after dark. maybe they went real shallow, I don’ know.
we have been marking fish stacked up just no takers.i’ll do the same if we get into them.see you sat.gonna fish from buffalo back to the forks.
