Do any of you use hi-vis for inshore fishing?I personaly never tried it but since I was giving a spool of 15lb test,I thought that I would try it.
What say you?
Works fine. You can see the line movement as a fish takes a bait better than clear etc.

Some of my PowerPro is hi-vis. I use a clear or tinted mono/flouro leader regardless so I can’t speak to how visible it is to the fish. However, I have alway shy’d away from tying hy-vis directly to the line when using mono for offshore and nearshore.

I switched to yellow a few years back. had been using the green braid, but since I always use a leader anyway, I figured there’s no reason to try to hide the main line. I like that I can see my line MUCH easier than the old green line, especially in low light conditions. I’ll never use anything but high-vis yellow again, most likely.
