Had a descent day around Edisto Banks Saturday. Left dock early and returned early due to weather. Picked up the first few finz around 260’ to 280’ early and then lost a nice bull to the prop in 300’. Headed back shallow around 11:00 and hooked the daymaker hoo in 200’ on the planer rod. Got to 160’ and put three more finz in the boat. We were very happy with our presentation, had hits on the planer, short and long riggers, flat line, long line, and all on caliber lures and bluewater candy witches. One on a flash series islander. About 20 knockdowns total but ended the day with 10 finz and 1 hoo. Had a few short strikes, cut offs, and cudas. Weather chased us home around 1:00 and we left the fish hungry so cant wait to get back out. Also appreciate the help of Miss Amanda. We had a miss leading engine alarm early in the day and Lynn was more than happy to look out for us through out the day for what ever we may have needed.
