went up to see the grandfolks in highlands nc. went to one of the lakes on the golf course. Every day i caught about 20+ fish either rainbows, browns, largemouth, carp, or bream. The fish that made the trip was last night. I was throwing a yellow wolly bugger and trout were rising everywhere. cast near a rise and a monster rainbow ate it. finally got it to the bank after 10 min cause i was using light line, and was picking it up, when the line snapped. The fish’s girth was so large that my hand couldnt fit around it to grip it. The length was probably 28 or so inches. So i had one hand around itand it startd to get away. As is swam away i dove at it to try to catch it…
and went into the lake in all my clothes with the cellular in pocket…now cellular is malfuncioning…i did get a hand on the fish for a second but it got away…it was a MONSTER:stuck_out_tongue:
