Hill Today-- 7/30

Another big haul. No huge fish, but most were fat hybrids 21-25 inches long with 60+ fish boated. We kept 14 of the nicest for the box and released the rest. The stripers ranged from dinks to 23 inchers, but 75% of what we caught was hybrids. Still trying to lock in the big stripers. All were caught on downrods at 40-80 from Parksville to Scott’s Ferry. It was an enjoyable outing.

Nice day fog save some fun for me my crowd canceled on me down there this weekend so it’s off to murray sat for me

Wow, that sounds like a heck of a day! The only time I get to catch 60 fish in a day is offshore on the reefs and i don’t want to catch 99% of them.

The bite was insane! Wayne and I fished several spots and rarely failed to catch 10-15 in a stop. Just wished we could have got some bigger fish, but it’s tough to complain with all the action!

Where did you guys get bait at and which ramp did you use?

I am not positive, but they probably got bait at the Herring Hut, and launched at Scott’s Ferry.

That’s correct.
