Heading down to HHI for Labor Day wknd. Taking the boat down and getting a slip at Shelter Cove, should be a fun 4 hr cruise down.
Want to put my father in law on a tarpon, red & shark action always a plus. Not looking for your hot spot, but what areas should I be scouting?
Obviously will be fishing mullet schools off the beaches if the mullet run is going on, but don’t know anything about fishing the area…
Any pointers would be much appreciated.

Chs and HHI are 2 different places last time I checked.
Haha no, not a trick. Just never fished down there…I try to shorten the learning curve on a new area any way possible. So more catching and less scouting! Got some good intel, going to focus on the cuts in Port Royal Sound.
